FSX Northrop Grumman B-2A Spirit Bomber Upgrade

Northrop Grumman’s B-2A Spirit stealth bomber gets a refined flight model for FSX, tuned for convincing low-level penetration and efficient high-altitude, long-range cruising using real-world engine and aerodynamics logic. Computer-controlled slats support stable flying-wing handling and a polished virtual cockpit experience; requires B-2A.ZIP.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

The B-2A stealth bomber is one of the most sophisticated aircraft ever developed. She is eccentrically a remade version of the B-49 Flying Wing Bomber, with jets instead of props. She incorporates wing slats via computer control in order to compensate for the lack of a vertical tail. Because of this fact alone, most modelers have been unable to recreate this aircraft in a flyable version. This version of the aircraft contains all necessary for low-level and high altitude (long distance) flight, based on real world aero/engine dynamics. She flies like the real thing. Requires B-2A.ZIP for completion. Original B2A design by B. Atrakio. Sounds by Ruggero Osto. B2 real world engine/aerodynamics by Douglas E. Trapp.

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
