VFA-192 “Golden Dragons” 2014 line textures bring an authentic NAS Lemoore-based Super Hornet look, inspired by a jet photographed in Portland in early 2014, with crisp squadron markings suited to close-up views in the virtual cockpit. Designed for FSX and requires the VRS F/A-18E Super Hornet v1.4.

This is a set of VFA-192 'Golden Dragons' LINE textures for the FSX VRS F/A-18E Super Hornet V1.4. VFA-192 are now based at NAS Lemoore, CA as part of CVW-9 and are currently transitioning to the F/A-18E Super Hornet. These textures are based on a jet seen in Portland, OR in early 2014. Installation:

  • This zip file is ACM friendly simply extract it to a known location and then import using the VRS ACM.

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
