USAF Convair B-58 Hustler “Greased Lightning” repaint depicts aircraft 61-2059, famed for its nonstop Tokyo-to-London flight averaging 938 mph, with period-accurate markings and a crisp finish for close-up exterior views and the virtual cockpit. Designed for FSX, it requires the payware Glowingheat B-58 Hustler.

This is a repaint for the payware Glowingheat Convair B58 Hustler to represent US Air Force 61-2059, the aircraft that flew non-stop from Tokyo to London at an average speed of 938 mph. Nicknamed 'Greased Lightning' it is currently on display at the Strategic Aerospace Museum. By Dave Quincey.

Installation:

  • Unzip the file to a location of your choice and copy and paste the 'texture.61-2059' into your main Glowingheat B-58 directory.
  • Add the following lines to the 'aircraft.cfg' file after the last [fltsim.xx] entry.
  • Replace the .xx with the next number in sequence and save.
