FSX Refuel Nozzle Function For F-107A

Animated refuel nozzle operation brings the Alphasim F-107A to life in FSX by enabling the Concorde nose and visor function, with added camera views for clear external and pilot’s virtual cockpit observation. Gun effects are included for extra immersion, and the package requires Bob Chicilo’s F-107A update.

Refuel Nozzle Function For F-107A with added views. This is for Bob Chicilo's update for the FSX Alphasim F-107A (ALPHAF107AUPX.ZIP). The Concorde-Nose&Visor function is enabled so the animated refuel nozzle works even in FSX and can be watched from external views or from the pilots view. Gun effects included. Configuration by Erwin Welker.

Installation:

  • Backup the f107a.air first. Then replace it with mine.
  • Copy all the lines for the camera definitions from my file "Cameras & Gun effects" and paste it somewhere into the aircraft.cfg.
  • Copy all the lines for the Lights effects from my file "Cameras & Gun effects" and paste it below the default Light configuration of the aircraft.cfg. (You can fire the guns with the key for the strobe lights).
  • Copy, paste and overwrite the Effects into the main directory of your FSX.

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
