FSX SAAF de Havilland Vampire FB5

SAAF livery for the de Havilland Vampire FB5 recreates aircraft 216 as flown by the Advanced Flying School at Pietersburg in June 1971, with period-accurate markings and a clean, authentic finish. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration, it requires Rob Richardson’s Vampire FB5 base aircraft.

A South Africa Air Force repaint for Rob Richardson's DeHavilland Vampire FB5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration. 216 was one of 10 FB52's delivered. It is depicted as flown by the Advanced Flying School at Pietersburg in June 1971. This is an updated re-issue of a paint first released on BritSim in 2012. Repaint by Peter Watkins.

Installation:

  • Drop the texture folder into the 'DeHavilland Vampire FB5' folder in the SimObjects 'Airplanes' folder and copy the text below into the aircaft cfg file, replacing the 'xx' with your next number in sequence.
