French Armée de l’Air livery for the de Havilland Vampire FB5 captures aircraft No. 8 from E.C. 2/4 “Lafayette,” one of 94 ex-RAF jets delivered in 1949–1950, with crisp markings suited to period operations. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration, it requires Rob Richardson’s Vampire FB5 base aircraft.

A French Armee de L'Air repaint for Rob Richardson's DeHavilland Vampire FB5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration. No. 8 was one of 94 ex-RAF FB5s delivered between May 1949 and March 1950. It was operated by E. C. 2/4 'Lafayette'. This is an updated re-issue of a paint first released on BritSim in 2012. Repaint by Peter Watkins.

Installation:

  • Drop the texture folder into the 'DeHavilland Vampire FB5' folder in the SimObjects 'Airplanes' folder and copy the text below into the aircaft cfg file, replacing the 'xx' with your next number in sequence.
