FSX Irish Air Corps Avro Anson C19

Irish Air Corps markings for the FSAddon Avro Anson C19 recreate aircraft 141, delivered in April 1946 and flown with the General Purpose Flight, complete with accurate registration and period-appropriate finish. Designed for FSX, the repaint adds a museum-preserved Baldonnel airframe to the lineup and requires the payware base aircraft.

A repaint for the payware FSAddon Avro Anson C19. 141 was one of three Anson C19s delivered to the Irish Air Corps in April 1946 and operated by the General Purpose Flight. The aircraft has been preserved at the Irish Air Corps Museum at Baldonnel. Repaint by Peter Watkins.

Installation:

Copy the texture folder into the 'GFA Avro Anson_Mk19-_C19-CIVIL' folder in the SimObjects 'Airplanes' folder and copy the text below into the aircraft.cfg file, replacing the 'xx' with your next number in sequence.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint for Payware Model

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
