Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

This is Tim Conrad's T-28 Trojan modified For FSX. This is the AT28 version, the attack model of the T-28D trainer. It was used for Close Air Support (CAS) missions by the USAF and allied air forces in Southeast Asia. It was fitted with six underwing hardpoints and the rocket-powered Stanley Yankee ejection seat. New flight dynamics, a new modern VC cockpit using default gauges and VT-5 textures with exhaust flames effect complete instructions for use on your own project. Aircraft has a 2D and 3D panel. Includes pictures and history of the T-28 / At-28 Trojan. By Mark Rooks of RDG Aircraft.

Installation:

  • As always back up any original files.
  • Unzip downloaded folders to your desktop or temporary directory of your choice.
  • Copy the " AT-28.zip " folder and paste it in the main aircraft folder. By default the main aircraft folder is located at:
  • "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSX\SIM Objects /Aircraft"
  • Be sure to completely unzip all files the aircraft file when complete will contain 6 files the following 6 files goes in the aircraft folder: CFG, Airfile, Model, Sound, Panel, Textures.
  • Be sure to install the gauges files in gauges folder:
    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSX\Gauges"

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
