FSX Mada Bush Airfields Scenery

Mada Bush Airfields; extra files for use in FSX. The previous three packs with a total of 150 fields in Madagascar should be installed first before adding these additional files. By Pierre Mogenet.

The 3 packs for FS9 (150 places) should be installed (with libraries and texrures).

Installation:

Better to unzip in a temporary folder, then copy in FSX following subfolder: madabush_exclude_flatten for instance, with only a scenery subfolder

In FSX scenery management window, declare

• madabush airfields (no need to copy folder if already installed in FS9)
• mada exclude and flatten, under in the order of this window list (=greater number)

FS9 and FSX: I join a short fix for FS9 and FSX, concerning FMZX (wrong altitude, no noticeable problem in FS9, but chasm in FSX!); just unzip the 2 files of mada_fs9_fix.zip (fmzx_sakamasy.bgl and fmzx_sakamasy_API.bgl); thencopy and overwrite in madabush scenery.

All afcad are fully functionnal for GA traffic (to build!) with 2 parking places. You can edit AF2*** files if you want to change runway textures, markings, ... ; "dirt" texture is often next to reallity, but difficult to see; I often changed it to "gravel", easier to see when seeking landing places! Think to set airport trucks to 0; such devices would seem rather strange on bush airfields!

Experimented pilot may try to install only flatten/exclude and Afcad (without any 3D objects!), as near as possible of reality.

Better to use with (work in FSX):

• Mada mesh of JG. Laurent
• Ocean Indian LC of R. Taburet
• Mada small towns LC of P. MOGENET

Unfortunately, Mada lakes and river fix fails under FSX.

Concerning FSDiscover! users: all airfields are automatically gathered by program and available for landmarks, flightplans, ...
