Compatibility with Default 737-800

All files included in this repaint have been tailored for the default Boeing 737-800 model in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Since this download only includes customized textures, the base aircraft model is required. You can acquire the necessary default 737-800 model from the Fly Away Simulation library if needed. Once installed, pilots can enjoy the enhanced look without altering any of the aircraft’s flight dynamics.

Recommended Installation Process

  1. Place the new texture folder in the default Boeing 737-800 directory found within your simulator’s SimObjects folder.
  2. Back up your existing aircraft configuration (aircraft.cfg) prior to editing. This way, you can revert to your original setup if necessary.
  3. Merge the included aircraft.cfg entries into your current file. This process incorporates the Thomas Cook repaint into your aircraft menu.
  4. Confirm that the texture references match the newly added textures, and then save your changes.

Technical Highlights

Designed with attention to detail, these textures depict:

Exterior Markings
All logos, fuselage markings, and engine decals align with Thomas Cook’s branding.
Strategic Color Matching
The livery’s colors precisely match the airline’s palette for accurate and consistent visual quality.
Optimized Performance
Utilizes the default performance data of the 737-800, ensuring correct flight behavior without additional modifications.

This repaint stands out for those eager to experience a true-to-life Thomas Cook journey in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. By preserving the Boeing 737-800’s operational profile, it keeps flights realistic while injecting the distinctive holiday-airline vibe. For full functionality, make certain you have the freeware base model installed from the Fly Away Simulation files, then integrate these textures to enhance your virtual fleet.
