This repaint set refines the classic Mooney Bravo package for Microsoft Flight Simulator X by introducing a highly detailed exterior scheme based on the real-world N104TN registration. Developed by Zane Gard, Jr., the textures showcase high-resolution DDS rendering and are intended for the deluxe edition’s G1000 variant. Optional camera viewpoints, adjusted panel files, and modified aircraft.cfg entries are included to replicate the Acclaim Type S climb and cruise statistics.

Mooney Heritage and Focus on Performance

Mooney aircraft are recognized for their exceptional cruise speeds, and the Acclaim Type S variant continues that tradition. The real-world Acclaim family, often flying at altitudes where the 280 hp engine fully exploits thinner air, can reach close to 242 KTAS. This repaint applies those stylistic elements to the default Mooney Bravo G1000 within FSX, delivering an authentic look mirroring N104TN’s airframe.

• High-Resolution DDS: Ensures crisp color rendering on fuselage and control surfaces.
• G1000 Integration: Matches the default “Glass Cockpit” Mooney Bravo layout in FSX.

Optional Adjustments for Type S Dynamics

Included with this repaint are optional panel modifications, camera views, and aircraft.cfg tweaks. These enhancements adjust cruise and climb parameters to better simulate the Acclaim Type S performance envelope. If you prefer the default flight model, simply install the textures without applying the additional files.

Installation Notes

1. Place the texture.N104TN folder inside the “Mooney_Bravo” directory, which is located by default at:

   FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/Mooney_Bravo

2. Open your aircraft.cfg with a text editor (e.g., Notepad).
3. Locate the final [fltsim] section. Copy the following code, and paste it beneath the last [fltsim] entry:
