FS2004 Gmax Fairey Delta Package

Fairey Delta 2 package recreates the 1956 absolute air speed record holder and the later ER.193D conversion with an ogee delta wing that informed Concorde development. Built with Gmax for FS2004, it includes detailed exterior modeling, a period-appropriate virtual cockpit, and authentic handling for high-speed test flying and historical scenarios.

The FD.2 was a world-beater, taking the Absolute World Air Speed record in 1956. Later, in the 1960s, as BAC was developing Concorde, one of the FD.2 aircraft was converted to an ogee delta wing under ER.193D. This provided valuable data for the Concorde programme. Craig Richardson

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
