Piseco Airport (K09) scenery refreshes the stock airfield in the Adirondacks with corrected taxiways, new aprons, roads, buildings, and extra detail objects, all built from default assets. An optional Ultimate Terrain X file adds a seaplane dock, boats, and parked floatplanes on Piseco Lake for FSX.

Piseco Airport Scenery.

Here is an improved version of the stock Piseco Airport. T adjusted taxiways, added aprons, roads, buildings and other objects. The airport is owned by the Town of Arietta and is located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountain area of upstate NY. Please don't feed the bears!

I've added an extra file for UTX users called K09_docks_JC.bgl. It will add a seaplane dock with two seaplanes, a couple of boats, and sailboats on Piseco Lake.

I use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the files K09_AFX_JC.bgl and K09_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy. If you have UTX-USA you can also install the file K09_docks_JC.bgl as well.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
