Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Elmira/Corning Regional Airport (KELM), New York (NY). Here is an improved version of the stock Elmira/Corning Regional Airport. The author has added and adjusted aprons, taxiways and roads to match the actual airport. Also added is a new terminal with jetways and replaced the control tower with a more realistic one. The author has replaced most default buildings and added others including the fire station. Airlines are now assigned to the gates (Allegiant, USAir, and Northwest), added static vehicles and aircraft and other objects. By Jim Cook.

Here is an improved version of the stock Elmira/Corning Regional Airport. I added and adjusted aprons, taxiways and roads to match the actual airport. I added a new terminal with jetways and replaced the control tower with a more realistic one. I replaced most default buildings and added others including the fire station. I assigned airlines to the gates (Allegiant, USAir, and Northwest), added static vehicles and aircraft and other objects.

I use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files KELM_AFX_JC.bgl and KELM_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
