LFKA Albertville brings the Alpine airfield in Savoie to life with an accurate airport layout and terrain placement for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, ideal for mountain approaches near the Tarentaise, Beaufortain, and Val d’Arly valleys. Developed with Airport Design Editor and SBuilderX, it integrates smoothly alongside typical European mesh and landclass setups.

LFKA Albertville, France, v1.0. Tested with SP2 plus UTX Europe plu Mesh 38m for FSX. This file adds the Albertville airport to FSX. It was made with ADE (Airport Design Editor) and SbuilderX. Albertville is a French commune, located in the department of Savoie and Rhone-Alpes. Located in the heart of the Alps, the town lies on the edge of the Tarentaise, Beaufortain and Val d'Arly in the Combe de Savoie. This location earned him the nickname currently Carrefour des Quatre Vallees. Its geographical position and its strengths mountain enabled the city to host the XVI Olympic Winter Games in 1992. This file adds the Albertville airport in FSX. It was made with ADE (Airport Design Editor) and SbuilderX. Thank you to the respective authors.

Albertville is a French commune, located in the department of Savoie and Rhone-Alpes.

Located in the heart of the Alps, the town lies on the edge of the Tarentaise, Beaufortain and Val d'Arly in the Combe de Savoie. This location earned him the nickname currently Carrefour des Quatre Vallées. Its geographical position and its strengths mountain enabled the city to host the XVI Olympic Winter Games in 1992. This sporting event the world had known.

Installation:

- Unzip the archive into a temporary folder.
- Copy the folder "LFKA" in the addon scenery folder of FSX.
- Delete the temporary folder.
- Start FSX.
- Add scenery in the FSX Scenery Library.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
