FSX Indianapolis International Airport V2.1 Scenery

Indianapolis International Airport (KIND) v2.1 refines IFR flying with corrected ILS alignments for every runway, complete waypointed procedures, and GPS approach course depictions for smoother intercepts and stable finals. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it requires FSX_LTS and FSXrdrs to render the added approach visuals properly.

Scenery Indianapolis International Airport (KIND), Indiana (IN), v2.1. Updated ILS's for all runways to be aligned with the runways. Also, added "graphics" for these approaches that you see on the GPS screen. Note: No non-precision approaches were added. By Chris Homko.

Corrected the ILS alignments with runways and attempted to add the approach "graphics" you see on the GPS screen.

I only added the ILS approaches, NOT the non-precision approaches.

All the correct waypoints were added to these approaches as well.

Let me know if you have any issues with these.

UPDATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unzip the contents to your KIND/scenery folder, when it asks for overwrite choose ALL.

2. Done!

NEW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

These 2 BGL files were designed with latest version of ADEX (v1.47.07) and made only for FSX, THESE WILL NOT WORK IN FS2004!

There are 2 BGL files: KIND_ADEX_CJH.BGL and KIND_ADEX_CJH_CVX.BGL

To Install:

1. Download fsx_lts.zip and fsxrdrs.zip by Jim Dhaenens from FlightSim.com and unzip them following their instructions.

2. Create the KIND/scenery folders before unzipping inside the Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery/ folders.

3. Unzip the BGL files and place them into the: Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery/KIND/scenery/ folder.

4. Start up Flight Sim x and from the main menu click on SETTINGS then click on SCENERY LIBRARY then click on ADD AREA. Navigate to your KIND folder and then click on "OK". Also add the FSX_LTS and FSXrdrs folders you also unzipped earlier.

To Uninstall:

1. Remove the BGL file by Start up Flight Sim x and from the main menu click on SETTINGS then click on SCENERY LIBRARY.

2. Scroll the list up or down if needed to find "KIND" and click on it.

3. Click on DELETE AREA.

4. Now you may use any folder browsing program such as explorer to delete the KIND/scenery folders.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
