Unst Airport (EGPW) brings the Shetland Islands’ northernmost airfield to life with a compact, accurate layout suited to short hops and light aircraft, set amid open grassland and coastal scenery. Designed for FSX, it places the tiny Baltasound gateway in context for immersive island operations in northern Scotland.

Scenery Unst Airport (EGPW). Unst is one of the North Isles of the Shetland Islands, Scotland, UK. It is the northernmost of the inhabited British Isles and is the third largest island in Shetland after the Mainland and Yell. It has an area of 46 square miles (120 km2). The airport is very small. Unst Airport Scenery.

Unst is largely grassland, with coastal cliffs. Its main village is Baltasound, formerly the second largest herring fishing port after Lerwick and now the location of a brewery, a leisure centre and the island's airport. Other settlements include Uyeasound, home to Greenwell's Booth (a Hanseatic warehouse) and Muness Castle (built in 1598 and sacked by pirates in 1627); and Haroldswick, location of a boat museum and a heritage centre.

Installation Instructions:

Just place the EGPW_ADEX_GB.BGL and the EGPW_ADEX_GB_CVX.bgl files into the Addon Scenery folder, within the Scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
