FSX Haverstraw Heliport Scenery

Scenery Haverstraw Heliport (H43), NY. This is a public helipad that services the town of Haverstraw, New York. It provides both air freight and charter services for the area. Scenery has been designed based on Google Maps aerial photos, the author has not been to this heliport in person. Trees ringing the heliport are basic oak models, they are not seasonal objects. This heliport gives you a great excuse to travel far north along the beautiful Hudson River valley. By Drew Sikora.

Comms are not activated for this heliport, because really what use would you have for them anyways?

This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New York 004. It is not required.

Airport Remarks:

- JetA fuel available when landing on unmarked helipad.
- Wind Indicator: Yes, Lighted.
- Caution trees in close proximity to helipad.
- NOISE ABATEMENT; AVOID RESIDENTIAL AREA W OF HELIPORT.
- HELICOPTERS DESCEND TO POINT ON TURF AREA WEST OF PAVEMENT AND TAXI TO PAVED LOCATION.

Installation:

Unzip the folder H43 to wherever you stash your add-on scenery, then activate within the FSX scenery library.

This airport uses external scenery objects. Include the files in the Objects folder as needed if you notice objects missing (either just place them in the H43/Scenery folder or create another scenery layer for them).

Known Issues:

- Bug with helipad floodlight, does not show on ground unless light source is also visible on screen.
