Sardegna (Sardinia) gains sharper terrain definition with a 10 m, LOD 12 mesh built from regional GIS data, improving ridgelines, valleys, and coastal contours for more believable low-level VFR flying. Version 2 refines sea water elevations for cleaner shorelines and more consistent coastal terrain in FSX.

Scenery Sardegna 10 m Mesh V2. Built with the latest generation of terrain models from Sardegna's Region gis team, 10 m at source - Lod 12. This mesh scenery file covers the whole of Sardegna (Sardinia) region in Italy. This is version 2 which fixes some sea waters elevations. By Raimondo Taburet.

Install:

Just extract and move the bgl file in any activated scenery folder of your fsx - as for example:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\scenery\

Start fsx and make sure you set in the display / scenery panel - mesh resolution bar at 10 m.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
