FSX Duesseldorf EDDL Scenery Updated

Düsseldorf Airport (EDDL) scenery update for FSX refines parking-stand behavior by correcting jetway ground-pattern collision points, reducing unwanted crash detection when taxiing into gates. Designed as a v1.01 patch, it requires TOMEDDL_PATCHME_V1_0 and updates the tom_eddl_ME scenery folder for smoother apron operations.

Duesseldorf EDDL Updated, v1.01 patch, Germany. This little update fixes the problem with collisions at the parking positions. Maybe you noticed that you get a crash detection when the frontwheel of your aircraft hits the ground pattern of the jetway. This update refers to the file TOMEDDL_PATCHME_V1_0.ZIP. This update refers to the download: tomeddl_patchME_v1_0.zip. Just copy the including folder "tom_eddl_ME" in the folder "Addon Scenery" and confirm any overwriting request of windows.

The next time you start FSX in Duesseldorf everything should be fine.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
