FSX Vogtareuth Scenery

Vogtareuth Airstrip (EDNV) brings a private Bavarian Alps foothills strip to life with custom airport scenery, refined ground layout, and a rotating windsock that adds real-world cues on final. Built for FSX, it suits low-and-slow VFR hops in southern Germany with crisp local character and believable airfield atmosphere.

Vogtareuth (EDNV). Vogtareuth is a private airstrip in front of the Bavarian Alps in Germany By Andreas Jennerwein.

Installation:

Copy the enclosed folders and its content in the FSX-main-folder and confirm "overwriting" when prompted. Then add the scenery to the FSX-scenery-library. Aerosoft customers should find "AFD" folder an delete the file "EDNV" otherwise it can cause problems with pending or sunken runways. Users with photo scenery active, for example. VFR Germany-South or VGP, should remove a file in the Scenery folder:

* Photo_EDNV.bgl

The scenery includes the rotating Windsock from FSDevelopers. Thank you for this!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
