FSX US Airways Express Dash 8

US Airways Express Dash 8-100 repaint brings Piedmont Airlines regional service to the default de Havilland AI turboprop in FSX, complete with matching tail number, airline callsign, and an included splash screen for a cohesive fleet look. Requires the Dash 8 Flyable pack by Braden Peters for full aircraft selection and use.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

A repaint for FSX AI default DeHavilland Dash 8. Although the repaint is not perfect (logos mirrored on tail and nose), the Dash 8 was in service for Piedmont Airlines owned by US Airways Express. Splash screen included. This repaint requires the Dash 8 Flyable pack by Braden Peters (DASH8X2.ZIP). By Victor Vu.

Installation:
Place the Texture.pdt folder into the default DH_Dash_8 folder, then go to the installation text document and copy all contents. Next, go to the default DH_Dash_8 and open the aircraft.cfg, then go to before you end up into the [GENERAL] Section. Last, paste everything and then change the x into a number that is not used (3... or later), then run FSX and choose free flight and go to the aircraft manufacturer to "De Havilland," then look over "Piedmont Airlines..." and there you have it!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
