How do I install it in FS2004?

- Extract the download to a temporary folder rather than directly into FS2004.
- Read the included instructions and decide whether to use the VC or no-VC variant.
- Copy the complete aircraft folder into
Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft. The installed aircraft folder should directly contain itsaircraft.cfgfile and the relevant model, panel, sound and texture folders. - Install any separate support files, such as gauges or effects, only in the matching FS2004 folders named by the documentation.
- Restart FS2004 and look for the Spartan Executive in the aircraft selection menu.
Why does the Spartan Executive not appear in FS2004?
The usual cause is an extra nested folder, which leaves aircraft.cfg one level deeper than FS2004 expects. Move the actual aircraft folder—not its outer archive or package folder—into Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft.
If the aircraft appears but has a blank panel, missing instruments or no sound, recheck the archive for separately supplied gauge, effect or sound files. Avoid replacing an existing file with an older copy unless the package documentation explicitly requires it.
