How do I fix duplicate buildings or broken taxiways at KORD?
Duplicate terminals, sunken aprons and conflicting taxiways usually mean that two KORD packages or an overlapping Chicago add-on are active together.
- Find every KORD package. Check the simulator’s installed-content library and, on PC, the
Communityfolder. Search by bothKORDand the developer name. - Keep one airport active. Disable the redundant KORD package where the content manager permits it. Simply changing package priority may not remove duplicate models when exclusions are incomplete.

- Restart and test a default aircraft. Begin at a gate in daylight with other modifications disabled. Reintroduce packages one at a time after confirming that the airport is level and complete.

Why does detailed KORD scenery cause stutters?
At KORD, AI aircraft and ground traffic often create more CPU load than the terminal models themselves. Reduce AI or live traffic, parked aircraft, airport vehicles and workers first; lower Object Level of Detail next if the main-thread load remains high.
Lower texture resolution only when video-memory pressure is producing blurred surfaces, pauses or abrupt texture swapping. Chicago’s streamed city scenery can add another load during approach, so repeat the same flight after the first run before attributing every short compilation or streaming pause to the airport package.
