Is the Fenix A321 compatible with MSFS 2024?

In short

Check Fenix A321 MSFS 2024 compatibility, PC-only limits, required A320 base package, installation steps and fixes if the aircraft is missing.

Yes. The Fenix A321 is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Windows PC, provided you own the Fenix A320 base product and the A319/A321 expansion and install the MSFS 2024 version through the Fenix Installer. It is not available for the Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5 versions.

What do you need to use the Fenix A321 in MSFS 2024?

You need the PC version of MSFS 2024, the Fenix A320 base product and the A319/A321 expansion.

The A321 is not a stand-alone purchase: owning only the expansion is insufficient. Our comparison of the Fenix A319, A320 and A321 explains the airframe, engine and capacity differences within the package.

How do I install the Fenix A321 in MSFS 2024?

Install the aircraft through the Fenix Installer rather than copying an old MSFS 2020 package into the new simulator.

  1. Close both simulators. This prevents locked files and ensures the installer can update every component.
  2. Open and update the Fenix Installer. Sign in with the account holding both the A320 base product and the A319/A321 expansion.
  3. Select Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. If MSFS 2020 is also installed, check the target carefully; choosing the older simulator is a common reason the A321 does not appear.
  4. Install or update the base product and expansion. Allow the installer to place the aircraft and its supporting components rather than choosing an old Community folder manually.
  5. Start the required Fenix software and then MSFS 2024. The A321 should appear as its own aircraft family in the aircraft selector.

Do not transplant the Fenix package directly from an MSFS 2020 Community folder. The aircraft relies on external Fenix components as well as simulator packages, so a folder copy can leave mismatched or missing files.

Why is the Fenix A321 missing or not working?

The usual causes are the wrong installation target, a missing A320 base installation or Fenix background components not running.

  • Aircraft absent from the selector: reopen the installer, confirm MSFS 2024 is selected and repair or reinstall both the base product and expansion.
  • Only the A320 appears: verify that the A319/A321 expansion belongs to the signed-in account and has been installed for MSFS 2024.
  • Black or unresponsive displays: check that the Fenix App and its supporting processes are running and have not been blocked by security software.
  • Duplicate aircraft or persistent loading faults: remove hand-copied legacy packages before performing a clean repair through the installer.
  • Unexpected livery problems: use an A321-specific livery updated for the simulator; A320 liveries are not interchangeable with the longer airframe.

For licensing, app-connection and display faults, follow our Fenix troubleshooting checks; the same underlying app and installation checks apply to the A321.

Does the Fenix A321 work on Xbox or PlayStation 5?

No. The Fenix A321 is a Windows PC add-on because its simulation uses external software that cannot run with the Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5 editions of MSFS 2024.

Do not confuse it with the separate iniBuilds A321LR found in MSFS 2024. That is a different aircraft with its own systems and content entitlement; our guide to the iniBuilds A321 included in MSFS 2024 explains which model it is and how it differs.
