GSX Pro is a payware ground-handling add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC. It provides a coordinated alternative to the simulator's basic stand services, adding boarding, baggage, catering, refuelling, marshalling, jetway and pushback operations. It works by reading the selected airport stand and aircraft profile, then running the compatible service sequence.
What does GSX Pro add to Microsoft Flight Simulator?
GSX Pro turns an aircraft turnaround into a managed sequence rather than a collection of unrelated ground-service requests. Its main features include:
- Passenger boarding and deboarding, including visible passengers where the aircraft and airport configuration support them.
- Baggage loaders, cargo equipment, catering trucks and fuel vehicles.
- Marshaller and visual docking guidance at configured stands.
- Jetway control and optional replacement jetways at supported airports.
- Pushback with selectable directions, custom routes and engine-start coordination.
- Walk-in boarding, buses and remote-stand operations when the airport profile is configured for them.
It does not replace airport scenery, ATC or the aircraft's own systems. GSX coordinates the turnaround around those elements; the depth of payload, fuel, door and passenger integration depends on the aircraft.
How does GSX Pro work?
GSX Pro combines simulator-side packages with an external Windows support engine, then uses airport and aircraft data to position and control each service.
- Load at a parking stand. GSX detects the airport, parking position and nearby service points. Starting on a runway will not produce a normal gate turnaround.
- Select the correct stand. The add-on reads the airport's parking layout and applies any installed airport profile. A profile can override stopping positions, vehicle locations, walking routes and pushback paths.
- Match the aircraft. An aircraft profile tells GSX where its passenger, service and cargo doors are located, which loaders it needs and how many passengers it can handle.
- Request a service. The in-simulator GSX toolbar menu is used to call deboarding, catering, refuelling, boarding or other equipment. GSX checks prerequisites such as door, engine and parking-brake states.
- Complete the turnaround. Once doors are closed and equipment has cleared, GSX can run pushback and provide engine-start cues. The pilot still operates the aircraft and follows its checklist.

Does GSX Pro work with every aircraft and airport?
GSX Pro can detect many airports and aircraft automatically, but accurate profiles make the difference between a convincing turnaround and vehicles stopping in the wrong place.
How do airport profiles affect GSX?
An airport profile corrects stand-specific details that the scenery data alone cannot describe reliably. It can define the precise nose-wheel stop point, pushback route, bus position, passenger path and areas where vehicles must not appear.
Profiles are specific to the scenery version. A profile made for a default airport or a different rendition of the same airport may place equipment inside buildings or direct pushback along the wrong taxiway.
Why does the aircraft profile matter?
The aircraft profile maps doors, cargo holds and service points to the model. Without a suitable profile, stairs may miss the doorway, loaders may use the wrong hold, or boarding may not synchronise with the aircraft's payload system.

Is GSX Pro available on Xbox or PlayStation?
GSX Pro is a PC-only add-on because it depends on external Windows components that console editions cannot run.

Why is GSX Pro not working correctly?
Most GSX problems come from an inactive support component, an incompatible profile or two ground-service systems trying to control the same operation.

Is GSX Pro worth using?
GSX Pro suits PC pilots who regularly fly airliners and want a complete gate-to-pushback workflow. It is less compelling for mostly airborne starts, light general aviation, console flying or anyone who wants ground services to work without occasional profile adjustment.
