Fix the iniBuilds A350 not loading in MSFS 2024: isolate livery conflicts, remove duplicate packages, verify the install path and reinstall cleanly.
The iniBuilds A350 usually fails to load in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 because the aircraft package is incomplete or outdated, a livery or other Community add-on conflicts with it, the simulator is using the wrong installation path, or an update has left duplicate files. Test the unmodified aircraft, then reinstall it cleanly if needed.
What does the A350 loading symptom mean?
The point at which loading fails usually identifies the faulty layer. Check the exact symptom before deleting anything:
| Symptom | Likely cause | First check |
|---|---|---|
| A350 absent from the aircraft selector | Wrong install path, inactive package, selector filter or ownership issue | Confirm that the package was installed for MSFS 2024 and is enabled |
| “Aircraft loading failed” appears | Incomplete aircraft package, missing dependency or content-streaming problem | Repair or redownload the package through its original installer or library |
| Loading hangs when entering a flight | Community conflict, duplicate A350 installation or damaged package | Test the base A350 in an otherwise clean add-on environment |
| Only one livery fails | That livery is outdated or built for a different A350 package revision | Remove the livery and load the iniBuilds default paint scheme |
| Default aircraft also fail | Simulator, account, storage or platform problem | Troubleshoot MSFS 2024 rather than the A350 |
If the aircraft is completely absent, use our missing-aircraft checks for package paths, filters and compatibility. For the specific “Aircraft loading failed” message, follow our breakdown of package, dependency and streaming failures.
How do I fix the iniBuilds A350 not loading?
The fastest fix is to isolate the base A350 before repairing the whole simulator. Work through these steps in order:
- Confirm that the problem is limited to the A350. Start a fresh Free Flight session with a default MSFS 2024 aircraft at the same airport. If that also fails, the A350 package is unlikely to be the root cause.
- Use the default A350 livery. Remove A350 liveries, cabin replacements, sound packs and systems modifications temporarily. Do not use a saved flight while testing; create a new flight so MSFS is not restoring references to an older package state.
- Test a clean Community folder on PC. Move unrelated packages outside the active Community folder. If your A350 was installed there directly, retain only its base package and any dependencies explicitly supplied by its installer. A mistake we see constantly is clearing the wrong Community folder after a custom MSFS installation, so verify the active package location first.
- Check for duplicate installations. Keep only one copy of the A350. Do not leave direct-installer and Marketplace copies active together, and do not manually copy an older MSFS installation into the MSFS 2024 package folder. For a direct PC installation, confirm that iniManager targets the active MSFS 2024 location.
- Reinstall the aircraft cleanly. Uninstall it through the same installer or content library used to obtain it, restart that installer or platform client, and download the package again. Installing over damaged files can preserve the file that caused the failure.
- Retest before restoring add-ons. Load the default A350 livery at a default airport. If it works, restore other packages in small batches until the conflict returns.
Xbox and PlayStation users cannot manipulate a Community folder directly. Use the simulator or console content library to disable optional A350 liveries and add-ons, then remove and redownload the aircraft package if the base livery still fails.
Why did the A350 stop loading after an MSFS update?
An MSFS update can expose an outdated aircraft build, change the active package path or leave two revisions of the same add-on installed. Update the A350 through its original delivery method, remove obsolete copies and test without old liveries before changing simulator files.
When the failure began immediately after an update, our post-update add-on recovery steps explain how to separate a compatibility problem from damaged caches or simulator files.
Why does the default A350 livery load but another livery does not?
If the default livery loads, the third-party livery is incompatible, incomplete or installed against the wrong base-aircraft structure. Remove that livery and obtain a revision intended for the installed A350 version; reinstalling the entire aircraft is unnecessary.
Do not copy livery model or texture files into the base A350 package as a workaround. Mixing files makes later aircraft updates harder to diagnose and can recreate the loading failure.
Does a slow first A350 load mean it is broken?
A first load after installation or an aircraft update can take longer while MSFS 2024 processes new resources and code. Allow it to finish while the simulator still shows activity, but a repeatable hang, return to Free Flight or explicit error on every attempt is not normal.
If the aircraft reaches the cockpit but displays remain blank, the package has loaded. Check electrical power and aircraft initialisation first, then repeat the default-livery test without A350 systems or cockpit modifications.
Should I reinstall Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024?
No—do not reinstall MSFS 2024 when only the iniBuilds A350 fails. A clean aircraft reinstall and Community-folder isolation are much quicker and preserve simulator settings and downloaded content.
Consider repairing the simulator only if default aircraft also fail, several unrelated add-ons will not load, or MSFS itself cannot enter a flight. Our broader clean-aircraft loading workflow covers those simulator-wide cases.
