No. X-Plane Mobile does not include built-in ATC that issues clearances, vectors, runway assignments or hand-offs, and its multiplayer mode does not provide an integrated live-controller service. You can still fly realistic routes and procedures, but any air traffic control must be role-played or handled outside the app.
What ATC features are included in X-Plane Mobile?
X-Plane Mobile has neither computer-generated ATC nor an integrated network of human controllers. Entering a flight plan, operating the avionics or tuning a COM frequency will not produce taxi instructions, departure clearances or approach vectors.

The confusion usually comes from treating the mobile and desktop editions as the same product. Can you use ATC in X-Plane Mobile multiplayer?
No, enabling multiplayer does not add tower, approach or centre controllers. It places other participating pilots in the shared environment, but nobody automatically assigns runways, maintains separation or issues clearances.

Can ATC be added to X-Plane Mobile?
Desktop ATC plug-ins and online-network clients cannot simply be installed in X-Plane Mobile. The mobile app does not use the desktop plug-in system, so copying an add-on, enabling multiplayer or reinstalling the app will not unlock ATC.
Tuning a frequency is another common dead end. A working radio display shows that the aircraft’s avionics are being simulated; it does not mean a controller service exists behind that frequency.
What should you use if ATC is the priority?
Use desktop X-Plane for computer-generated ATC, or choose a mobile simulator designed around live controllers when human ATC is essential.

If you remain with X-Plane Mobile, you can still practise traffic patterns, departure and arrival procedures, radio phraseology with a friend, and disciplined self-separation. The limitation is that the app itself will not act as ATC or connect you directly to a controller.
