Rangely’s sole runway is served at both ends by RNAV (GPS) approaches, giving the procedure set balanced arrival coverage rather than favouring one direction. The 6,409 ft strip offers only one alignment, while the obstacle departure procedure adds departure guidance to an otherwise compact set. There is no separate airport diagram.
Meeker Coulter Field has the same overall depth of published coverage, and Vernal Regional is similarly compact. Rifle Garfield County and Grand Junction Regional have markedly broader procedure sets. The Cheyenne, Denver and Salt Lake City sectionals place Rangely within a wider VFR context that the airport’s approach and departure sheets do not provide.
