Balanced approach coverage

Spanish Peaks Airfield has one RNAV (GPS) approach for each of two runway ends, giving balanced instrument coverage rather than concentrating procedures on a single direction. The set also includes an obstacle departure procedure, but no airport diagram. The 4,715 ft asphalt runway provides substantially more usable length than the 2,238 ft turf-dirt runway, making the latter the more restrictive option for aircraft requiring either greater distance or a paved surface.
