Procedure coverage

Pueblo Memorial’s seven approaches serve four of its six runway ends, so instrument coverage is not uniform across the three-runway layout. The mix includes ILS, RNAV (GPS), VOR and localiser procedures, providing several forms of guidance rather than relying on a single approach type. Runway length varies markedly: the 4,690 ft parallel is less than half the length of the 10,498 ft parallel, while runway 17/35 provides 8,310 ft. The three strips therefore cannot be treated as interchangeable when matching an aircraft to available runway length.

Wider chart context

Colorado Springs Municipal has a substantially broader published procedure set nearby, while Fremont County, Spanish Peaks Airfield, Meadow Lake and Butts AAF have much thinner coverage. The Denver and Wichita sectionals add broader VFR context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures.
