Marshall County’s instrument provision is narrow: its sole approach is RNAV (GPS) and serves only one of the four runway ends. Instrument arrivals are therefore concentrated on one alignment, with no published approach to the reciprocal end or either end of the second runway. Runway 13/31 offers 1,804 ft more length than 18/36; the shorter runway adds another alignment but substantially less available distance.
General Downing–Peoria International has by far the broadest nearby chart set, while Mount Hawley Auxiliary’s coverage is thinner than Marshall County’s. The other listed fields have four or five charts, making their coverage only slightly broader. The Chicago Sectional adds a regional visual reference beyond the airport’s tightly focused instrument material.
