Ingersoll’s three approaches serve only two of its four runway ends, so instrument coverage is concentrated rather than available for every alignment. Two RNAV (GPS) procedures provide the main approach coverage, with a VOR procedure adding a conventional option. The two-runway layout offers different alignments, but both runways are under 3,900 ft long, making runway length a clear constraint for aircraft requiring longer distances.
General Downing–Peoria International has a substantially broader procedure set. Pekin Municipal matches Ingersoll’s overall chart count, while Macomb Municipal and Harrel W Timmons Galesburg Regional have slightly more coverage; Mount Hawley Auxiliary is thinner. The Chicago Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context not provided by Ingersoll’s airport-specific instrument procedures.
