Procedure coverage

Logan County’s instrument coverage is limited to RNAV (GPS) procedures serving two of its four runway ends. The set therefore provides instrument arrival coverage for only half of the available runway directions, with no airport diagram included. Runway 03/21 is the longer paved strip; at 4,000 ft, it offers 979 ft more length than the turf 14/32.

Local chart context

Nearby procedure coverage divides sharply. Abraham Lincoln Capital, Central Illinois Regional, Decatur and General Downing–Peoria International each have substantially broader chart sets, while Pekin Municipal matches Logan County’s much thinner coverage. The Chicago and St Louis sectional charts add the wider visual-navigation context absent from the airport’s small instrument procedure set.
