Ainsworth Regional’s instrument coverage reaches all four ends of its two intersecting runways, rather than concentrating procedures on a single alignment. RNAV (GPS) forms the majority of the six approaches, while two VOR procedures retain a second approach type. The 6,824 ft runway is 1,323 ft longer than the other strip, giving the configuration a clear difference in available runway length as well as direction.
Miller Field, with seven published charts, has coverage closest in breadth to Ainsworth Regional; Thomas County follows with six. Rock County, Stuart-Atkinson Municipal and Gregory Municipal/Flynn Field each have much thinner three-chart sets. The Omaha Sectional adds broader VFR context around Ainsworth beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
