Instrument coverage

Bemidji Regional’s six approaches serve three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a published instrument procedure. The mix of ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures provides several forms of guidance rather than relying on a single approach type. Runway 13/31 is 1,304 ft longer than 07/25, concentrating the field’s greatest available runway length on one of its two alignments.

Coverage beyond Bemidji

Nearby procedure sets are distinctly thinner. Park Rapids has the broadest of them with five charts, while Walker, Fosston, Mahnomen County and Longville each have four, compared with Bemidji’s nine. The Twin Cities Sectional adds wider VFR context around Bemidji beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures and diagram.
