Blythe has two runway alignments, with both runways extending beyond 5,800 ft, but its instrument chart set is narrowly focused. The RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures both serve just one of the four runway ends. This gives that end two distinct approach methods while leaving the other three without a published approach.
Among nearby fields, Yuma MCAS/Yuma International has by far the broadest procedure set, while Laguna AAF is only slightly more extensively charted than Blythe. Avi Suquilla and Brawley Municipal have similarly compact coverage, and Cliff Hatfield Memorial has the thinnest set. The Los Angeles and Phoenix sectionals add wider VFR context that the airport-specific terminal procedures do not provide.
