Monroe County’s five approach plates serve all four runway ends, spreading instrument coverage across both alignments rather than concentrating it on one direction. The procedures collectively include four RNAV (GPS) approaches, an ILS and localiser capability. Runway 17/35 provides 6,500 ft compared with 3,798 ft on 06/24, so any use requiring more than the shorter distance depends on the longer north–south runway.
Columbus Municipal has comparably broad chart coverage, while Virgil I Grissom Municipal, Putnam County Regional and Freeman Municipal each have a smaller set. Brazil Clay County/Charles B Hall Field is much more lightly covered with only two charts. The St Louis Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context around Bloomington that the airport diagram and instrument procedures do not provide.
