Freeman Municipal’s four published approaches are all RNAV (GPS), with one approach for each of four served runway ends. Coverage is therefore distributed across four ends rather than concentrated on one alignment, but there is no non-GPS approach in the set. The two asphalt runways provide the field’s greater runway lengths on different alignments; the two turf strips, each close to 1,100–1,200 ft, cannot provide comparable length.
Columbus Municipal has the broadest nearby chart set, while Madison Regional and Virgil I Grissom Municipal match Freeman’s overall coverage; North Vernon and Greensburg Municipal are slightly thinner. The Cincinnati and St Louis sectionals place Seymour in wider VFR context, while the Cincinnati Terminal Area Chart adds a more focused terminal-area view absent from the instrument procedures.
