W H ‘Bud’ Barron’s instrument coverage is concentrated on two of its four runway ends. The three approach plates provide two RNAV (GPS) procedures and an ILS with a localiser option, combining satellite-based procedures with ground-based guidance. The remaining two ends have no published approach this cycle.
The two runway alignments offer different published lengths. An aircraft requiring more than 5,171 ft can use only 02/20 on those dimensions. Heart of Georgia Regional has comparable chart coverage, while Cochran’s three-chart set is the thinnest among the nearby fields. Robins AFB stands apart with eleven charts. The Atlanta Sectional adds broader VFR context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures.
