Approach and runway coverage

Dodge City Regional’s five approach plates serve all four ends of its two runways, so no landing direction is omitted from the instrument set. RNAV (GPS) provides most of the coverage, supplemented by ILS and localiser procedures. Runway 14/32 is 2,249 ft longer than 02/20; any aircraft requiring more than 4,650 ft of runway is therefore limited by length to the longer alignment.

Nearby chart coverage

Garden City Regional has a notably broader procedure set than Dodge City, while Jetmore Municipal, Meade Municipal, Ness City Municipal and Comanche County each have much thinner coverage. The Wichita Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context around Dodge City that is outside the scope of the airport diagram and terminal procedures.
