Meade Municipal’s two RNAV (GPS) procedures divide approach coverage across two runway ends rather than concentrating several options on one end. The runway layout is sharply split: 17/35 provides 4,800 ft of concrete, while the 2,085 ft turf runway 08/26 offers less than half that length. Aircraft needing more than 2,085 ft therefore have only the 17/35 alignment available.
Among nearby fields, Garden City Regional has the broadest procedure set, with Liberal Mid-America Regional and Dodge City Regional also carrying substantially more charts. Buffalo Municipal is thinner, while Jetmore Municipal matches Meade’s compact total. The Wichita Sectional adds broader VFR context not contained in Meade’s small terminal procedure set.
