Greenbrier Valley’s three approach plates serve both ends of its sole 7,003 ft runway, avoiding a one-direction gap in the published instrument coverage. The set combines RNAV (GPS) procedures with ILS and localiser options. With only one runway, every published approach uses the same alignment, but coverage from both directions provides more balance than a chart set focused on a single end.
Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. Roanoke/Blacksburg has a substantially broader chart set, while Raleigh County Memorial and Virginia Tech/Montgomery Executive are close to Greenbrier Valley in overall coverage. Summersville’s set is much thinner. The Cincinnati Sectional adds the surrounding visual-navigation picture not provided by the airport diagram and instrument procedures.
