Procedure coverage

Only two runway ends receive instrument approach coverage, despite three paved runways. The set combines ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) options, providing both ground-based and satellite-based procedures but concentrating them on a small part of the runway layout. At 5,004 ft, 09R/27L is the clear length option; 05/23 is shorter at 3,562 ft, while parallel 09L/27R remains below 3,000 ft.

Wider chart context

Nearby, John Glenn Columbus International and Rickenbacker International have broader chart sets, Bolton Field is closest in overall coverage, and Delaware Municipal/Jim Moore Field and Union County are much thinner. The Cincinnati and Detroit sectionals add broad-area VFR context beyond the airport diagram and terminal procedures.
