Five of KCOS’s six runway ends are served by an instrument approach, spreading coverage across the three-runway layout rather than concentrating it on one alignment. The mix includes ILS, RNAV (GPS), localiser, VOR and NDB procedures, with CAT II/III minima published for one ILS. The two 17/35 runways provide parallel lengths of 13,500 ft and 11,022 ft, while the 8,270 ft runway adds the separate 13/31 alignment.
Centennial has a substantially broader procedure set, while Pueblo Memorial is closer to KCOS in chart coverage but remains smaller. Meadow Lake, Fremont County and Butts AAF have much thinner published sets. The Denver and Wichita sectional charts add wider VFR context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures.
