Rusk County’s three approaches serve only two of its four runway ends, leaving the other two without a published instrument approach. The mix favours satellite navigation, with two RNAV (GPS) procedures alongside one VOR procedure. With no airport diagram, the set lacks a dedicated chart of the two-runway layout.
Runway 17/35 is 1,003 ft longer than 12/30, making it the only runway available when an operation requires more than 3,002 ft. Nearby, East Texas Regional and Tyler Pounds Regional have much broader chart sets; Cherokee County is closer to Rusk County’s coverage, while Gladewater Muni and Panola County-Sharpe Fld are thinner. Three sectional charts add broader VFR context beyond the terminal procedures.
