Frederick Douglass/Greater Rochester International has published approaches to all six ends of its three runways. The mix of ILS, RNAV (GPS), VOR and localiser procedures provides several forms of instrument guidance, while one ILS includes CAT II/III minima. Runway length varies substantially: the 8,001 ft runway is twice the length of the 4,000 ft runway, so the available distance changes materially with runway selection.
None of the nearby airports has comparably broad procedure coverage. Genesee County has the largest nearby set, but its six charts remain much thinner than Rochester’s; Ledgedale Airpark has the smallest set with two. The Detroit and New York sectionals add wider VFR context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures, with Rochester covered on both sheets.
