Balanced approach coverage

Roundup’s compact instrument set is evenly shaped: two RNAV (GPS) approaches serve two runway ends rather than concentrating access on a single direction. There is no published airport diagram, so the procedure collection remains limited to approaches and minimums information.

Runways and surrounding coverage

The 5,099 ft asphalt runway provides more than twice the length of the 2,460 ft turf runway; the shorter strip adds another alignment but does not match the longer runway’s dimensional provision. Nearby Billings Logan International has substantially broader chart coverage, while Laurel Municipal and Lewistown Municipal sit between that larger collection and the three-chart sets at Roundup, Wheatland County at Harlowton and Big Horn County. The Billings and Great Falls sectionals add wider VFR context beyond these terminal procedures.
