Smith Field has RNAV (GPS) procedures for all four ends of its two runways, giving the chart set balanced directional coverage rather than concentrating instrument access on a single alignment. Neither runway exceeds 3,126 ft, so the available landing and take-off distance is a defining constraint for aircraft using the field. No separate airport diagram is published.
Fort Wayne International has a substantially broader procedure set, while Auburn/DeKalb Executive is closest in scale to Smith Field’s coverage. Kendallville Municipal, Huntington Municipal and Van Wert County each have slightly thinner sets. The Chicago and Detroit sectional charts add wider VFR context around Fort Wayne that the airport-specific instrument procedures do not provide.
