KUOX has four approaches serving both ends of its single 5,600 ft runway. The mix of two RNAV (GPS) and two localiser procedures provides two distinct forms of instrument guidance rather than concentrating coverage on one runway end or one approach type. With only the 09/27 alignment available, every published approach leads to the same runway axis.
Grenada Municipal has an equally broad chart set, while Panola County, Holly Springs-Marshall County, New Albany/Union County and Ripley each have only half as many published charts. For visual flying, the Memphis Sectional supplies wider-area context, while the Memphis Terminal Area Chart adds more focused terminal-area detail not provided by the instrument procedures.
